Graduate & Start Your Medical Assistant Career in 18 Weeks!
Providence Medical Academy, located in Douglasville, GA, offers a 18 week hybrid medical assisting program with full instructor support. All textbook readings, assignments, and quizzes are completed online across 12 weeks. The lab/skills portion of the program meets in-person four times on evenings or weekends. Preparation for national certification exam included in total program cost. Two week externship provided at end of the program.

Providence Medical Academy was started in response to the critical need to infuse medical assistants, more rapidly into our healthcare workforce. We offer a 12-week accelerated medical assistant curriculum, plus two week externship, which prepares students to be eligible to sit the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) exam.
Who is Eligible To Enroll?
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must possess a High School Diploma or High School Equivalent Diploma/GED
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and urine drug screen
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English
- Access to a reliable computer and internet connection. Confident in using technology.
